Account Executive (Finance)

Role Overview

The Account Executive (Finance) is responsible for managing the Company’s financial administration, expense control, statutory compliance, and financial reporting functions. This role ensures that Energy Dot Com’s financial operations are conducted with accuracy, integrity, and in compliance with Malaysian regulatory requirements.

The incumbent will support management through structured financial reporting, cash flow monitoring, and disciplined financial governance to ensure operational sustainability and accountability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable

  • Monitor and control company expenses, ensuring proper documentation, approvals, and cost tracking

  • Prepare and manage e-Invoices in compliance with LHDN requirements

  • Support tax-related matters including SST submissions, corporate tax documentation, and statutory filings

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of all financial transactions

  • Prepare monthly financial reports, management summaries, and cash flow analysis

  • Support payroll processing and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, PCB) where required

  • Manage vendor payments and ensure timely settlement of company obligations

  • Maintain organized financial filing systems (digital and physical) for audit readiness

  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and financial consultants as necessary

  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, governance standards, and regulatory frameworks

Requirements
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in finance or accounting

  • Strong understanding of Malaysian taxation, e-Invoicing implementation, and statutory compliance requirements

  • Experience in energy, oil & gas, or project-based industries is an added advantage

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

Role Overview

The HR Executive supports the delivery of human capital and organisational effectiveness initiatives across the business, with a strong focus on project-based workforce planning, talent management and HR operations. The role works closely with management, line leaders and employees to ensure HR policies, processes and practices effectively support end-to-end project execution and EDC’s strategic focus areas.

Preference will be given to candidates with exposure to project-based organisations and environments supporting the full project lifecycle—from feasibility through execution to decommissioning, including EDC’s 4D focus areas: Development, Decarbonisation, Digitalisation and Decommissioning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee records, payroll coordination and offboarding
  • Coordinate project-based manpower planning, mobilisation and demobilisation in line with project schedules and execution requirements
  • Act as a liaison between management, project teams and employees, ensuring clear communication and alignment on HR matters
  • Support recruitment activities for technical, engineering and project roles, including screening, interviews and offer coordination
  • Prepare and maintain HR reports and dashboards, including manpower plan versus actual, attrition analysis and gap identification
  • Support performance management, training coordination and competency development initiatives

Requirements

  • Strong preference for candidates with experience supporting project execution environments, including EPCC, EPCM or PMC structures

Role Overview

The Decarbonisation Executive supports the development and execution of low-carbon and decarbonisation initiatives across energy and infrastructure projects, covering the full project lifecycle—from feasibility and concept development through execution, performance monitoring and continuous improvement.

The role works closely with project teams, clients, technology partners and regulators to deliver practical, cost-effective and fit-for-purpose decarbonisation solutions, aligned with client sustainability objectives, regulatory requirements and EDC’s 4D focus areas: Development, Decarbonisation, Digitalisation and Decommissioning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support identification, screening and development of decarbonisation opportunities, including CCUS, energy efficiency, electrification, renewable integration and emissions reduction initiatives
  • Assist in feasibility studies, techno-economic assessments and execution planning for decarbonisation projects
  • Coordinate technical, commercial and regulatory inputs across multi-disciplinary teams and technology partners
  • Act as liaison with Clients, end users and stakeholders, ensuring alignment on decarbonisation objectives, scope and deliverables
  • Track and report project performance, plan versus actual progress, emissions reduction targets and gap analysis
  • Support preparation of decarbonisation roadmaps, project reports, management papers and board-level presentations
  • Assist in regulatory engagement and compliance with Malaysian and international climate-related requirements

The Legal cum Proposal Manager oversees legal compliance and manages the preparation of commercial and technical proposals, ensuring alignment with contractual, regulatory, and business requirements.

The Project Engineer supports the planning, coordination and execution of energy infrastructure and facilities projects across the full project lifecycle—from early engineering through execution and handover. This position is suited for engineers who are execution-focused, technically sound and comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary project environment.

The CEO leads EDC’s growth and execution across the 4D pillars—Development, Decarbonisation, Digitalisation and Decommissioning, ensuring value-driven, fit-for-purpose and technology-enabled solutions are delivered to clients while safeguarding shareholder value, governance and HSSE excellence.

The CEO reports to the Board of Directors and is accountable for overall business performance, project outcomes and long-term sustainability of the Company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership & 4D Direction
  • Define and execute EDC’s corporate strategy anchored on the 4Ds across upstream, midstream and energy infrastructure projects.
  • Position EDC as a low-cost, high-credibility project advisory and execution partner to PETRONAS, PSC operators and industry clients.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities aligned with energy transition, asset optimisation and lifecycle solutions.

Project Advisory & Delivery Oversight

Key Requirements

Experience

  • Minimum 20 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with strong exposure to Exploration & Production (E&P) and project delivery environments.
  • Proven leadership experience in project advisory, project management and execution roles (PMC, EPCM, EPCC or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated experience across asset lifecycle stages, including development, operations, decommissioning and transition projects.
