The following profile presents our appointed technology partner and the core capabilities they contribute to EDC’s decommissioning and refurbishment scope.
Our technology partner is an offshore technical services company integrating intelligent equipment manufacturing and intelligent operation & maintenance, supporting offshore facility equipment across inspection/testing, maintenance, construction support, and digital services.
EDC remains the single point of accountability. EDC takes up Lump Sum Turnkey overall execution roles covering scope definition, delivery strategies, project management, HSE, quality, local resources, regulatory approval, for scope definition, delivery strategy, interface control, documentation governance, schedule and cost control, risk management, and client reporting. Our partner is engaged as technology and execution partners, expert resources, high technology equipments and marine spread, to strengthen inspection/testing capability and refurbishment readiness, subject to project scope and client requirements.
We partner with international and local service providers that operates yard with over 180,000 m3 of site area and module loading capacity up to 5000 MT supported by a 253 m dock berth and annual construction capacity of 25,000 tons., supporting module handling and yard interface requirements.
Supports module dragging and loading operations up to 5,000T using SPMT systems, with dock resources suitable for barge berthing requirements as part of offshore-to-yard transition support.
A 3D laser scanning and point cloud modelling to support renovation design calibration and prefabrication accuracy, enabling targeted offshore installation and reduced platform- side modification time.
Delivered multiple module maintenance and reuse projects, including rig/module renovation and reuse works, as well as FPSO dock repair and modification scopes. Our partner has also successfully delivered more than 100 offshore Central Processing Platforms (CPP) and Wellhead Platforms (WHP), with approximately 30% involving refurbishment and repurposing to extend asset life and improve re-deployment readiness.
